EPGP students raise funds for needy kids in memory of alum

13 SEPTEMBER, 2021: Prayaas, the social impact club of the students of the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) at IIMB, has joined hands with the NGO, Panaah, to raise money for community centres for kids. The Class of 2021-22 of EPGP has launched this initiative in memory of an alumnus of the programme, Jayavardhan Nayak.

The initiative is on until the end of the month and uses Ketto Crowdfunding. Link: https://www.ketto.org/fundraiser/iimb-for-panaah-bridging-the-gap-for-an-inclusive-community

“We are working with Pannah, which is setting up community centres for children from underserved backgrounds. Posts on LinkedIn and on Whatsapp are being circulated within our alumni network to raise the necessary amount. The funds raised, irrespective of the target amount, will be then transferred to the beneficiary’s account,” explains Vishal Laxman Bengeri, EPGP 2021-22.
