The annual conference will be organized by participants of the General Management for Healthcare Executives (GMHE) programme

10 July, 2025, Bengaluru: The participants of the General Management for Healthcare Executives (GMHE) programme, an Executive Education Programme (EEP) offered by IIM Bangalore, will host the fifth edition of Ayusmat. The annual healthcare leadership summit will convene over 250 delegates from across the healthcare domain to deliberate on the next decade of healthcare innovation and reform on 19 July 2025.

This year’s theme, ‘Healthcare 2030: Drivers of Disruption — Management, Machines, or Markets?’, seeks to reflect on the sector’s urgent need to navigate transformation driven by rapid advancements in AI, digital health, evolving care delivery models, and new financing architectures. With the next decade of healthcare regulation and delivery promising unprecedented transformation, AYUSMAT 2025 brings together policy visionaries, deep-tech founders, clinicians, strategists, investors, and healthcare system CXOs to visualize the course for the future of care.

Healthcare stakeholders, including policymakers and healthcare investors, hospital and health system CXOs, clinicians entering leadership roles, management consultants and researchers, med-tech and health insurance professionals, startup founders and health-tech innovators, and impact funders, NGOs, and think tanks, are invited to register.

As a key feature of AYUSMAT 2025, this year’s summit introduces SMartTANK IIMB, a curated pre-conference startup pitch platform designed to showcase India’s most promising healthcare and health-tech ventures.

Emerging innovators will present their solutions to a distinguished jury comprising funders, mentors, healthcare CXOs, and industry leaders. The winning startup will earn the opportunity to pitch live at the AYUSMAT 2025 Leadership Summit, gaining visibility at one of India’s most forward-looking healthcare forums.

Shortlisted ventures will also benefit from mentorship opportunities, feedback from sector experts, and networking with potential collaborators and investors. Startups working in areas such as accessibility, affordability, AI in healthcare, sustainable delivery models, patient engagement, and public health innovation are especially encouraged to apply.

The General Management Programme for Healthcare Executives (GMHE) is a part-time certificate programme on management in the healthcare domain that has been specifically designed for high-performing individuals who are transitioning to a management role. The programme has been developed by IIMB, in close partnership with the healthcare industry, with Prof. Haritha Saranga, Production & Operations Management area, Prof. Ashok Thampy, Finance & Accounting area, serving as Programme Directors.
