IIM Bangalore to welcome 2026-27 cohort of Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management on 25th March

The event’s chief guests are alumni Sabitabrata Banerjee, Partner at PwC India, and Kanika Garg, Founder of CXOIIM

23 March, 2026, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore will host the inauguration of the 2026-2027 batch of its one-year full-time MBA for experienced professionals, Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), on 25th March 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Classroom N-001.

About the Speakers

Sabitabrata (Sabi) Banerjee is a Partner at PwC India and a recognized thought leader in the intersection of AI-enabled healthcare, enterprise platforms, and private equity-led value creation. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IIM Bangalore.

Sabi has over two decades of experience and offers a unique combination of practitioner depth and advisory breadth. He started at TCS, where he learned the fundamentals of software engineering and large-scale delivery, before moving on to Oracle India, where he honed his skills in ERP platforms, supply chain management, and multi-industry transformation. This on-the-ground experience continues to shape his approach to digital transformation, which prioritizes execution over theory.

At PwC, he was one of the early architects of the Oracle practice, building what has grown into a ₹260-crore competency today by combining platform thinking, talent development, and delivery rigor.

In his national leadership role within PwC India's healthcare practice, his work spans AI-ready digital cores, back-office modernization, shared services, ERP-led transformation, and digitally enabled operating models.

He has led complex transformation programs for some of India’s most prominent healthcare platforms, including Apollo Hospitals, Aster DM Healthcare, Fortis Hospitals, Care Hospitals, Marengo Asia Healthcare, and Asia Healthcare Holdings (which operates Motherhood Hospitals, Nova IVF, and AINU). His engagements sit at the convergence of cost transformation, growth readiness, and data-driven decision-making.

A significant portion of Sabi's work bridges healthcare and private equity. Through long‑term engagements with firms, he has supported PE‑backed multi-asset healthcare platforms on post‑investment transformation, scalability, and value‑creation agendas.

Beyond the boardroom, Sabi advocates for a balanced and grounded approach to leadership. He is an avid reader, an aspiring writer, and a pianist. Based in Bangalore, he draws daily inspiration and perspective from his role as a father and his partnership with his wife, Jayashree, a senior leader at Jaguar Land Rover.

Kanika Garg is the former COO of Generali Central Insurance and is now the proud Founder of CXOIIM. She is also a certified Independent Director with a proven track record of building and scaling high-impact businesses in India and globally. With a relentless drive to challenge the status quo and a sharp focus on customer-centric innovation, she has led transformative initiatives that have shaped the future of multiple industries. In this role, she oversaw digital business, technology, and operations, driving P&L, large-scale AI initiatives, organizational transformation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation at scale.

Before this, Kanika has served as Group Chief Digital Officer at Jio Blackrock and Chief Product Officer at Tata Motors, driving business growth from 0-1 and 1-100. She is now embarking on an exciting entrepreneurial journey, leading her own venture in the digital space.

Her leadership has been honored with multiple prestigious recognitions, including Global Women Leader, Asia’s Women Power Leaders, Financial Express Visionary Leadership Award, Most Influential CXO of the Year, COO of the Year, CDO of the Year, and the AI Visionary Award.

A graduate of IIM Bangalore and a first-ranking CET engineering graduate who is passionate about giving back to society. She actively supports Hunger-Free India initiatives and collaborates with organizations dedicated to empowering children with disabilities, believing that true leadership is measured not only by professional accomplishments but also by the lives we improve. She is a passionate advocate for gender equity, innovation, and inclusive growth, and she continues to inspire young professionals to dream big, break down barriers, and lead with purpose.
