EPGP Co’23 students shine in Eximus – IIM B’s Entrepreneurship Summit one of the most celebrated festivals hosted in the Indian B-school community. The event witnessed participants from premier B-Schools of the country.

Harshad Bhoir & Kartik Mittal were adjudged as Runners in Business plan competition - Critter Crusade
Adarsh Unny stood as Runner-up in New Venture Pitch - Cinemania.

IIMB EPGP Team has been declared the first runner-up in ‘Prodify’, a Product Management case competition organized by IIM Lucknow.
The IIMB team comprised Bibin Kumar, Sucheta Kar and Gaurav Kumar. There were 523 teams participating in the contest.

IIMB EPGP Team – Adarsh Unny aand Ann George finished in Top 5 teams of Enigmatic – A national level marketing competition organized by Backlash Model United Nations Conference. 1900 teams participated in the conference. The team won a project sponsored by Model United Nations(MUN) Organization.

PRAYAAS

Prayaas is a community designed to create leaders who are passionate about developing a world of equal opportunities for all.
Prayaas leverages the diverse strengths of the cohort to create skill-based volunteering opportunities that would make a sustainable and meaningful impact for social start-ups and NGOs.
Prayaas team of EPGP organized the following events:
“Kritagya”
An event to express gratitude towards the horticulture staff of IIMB. The team felicitated green warriors by presenting a token of appreciation and gratitude.
“Sustainability Workshop with Sustainability Task Force of IIMB”
A sustainability workshop that included a classroom interaction on the subject matter followed by a session at the segregation facility.

INDUSTRY CONNECT
EPGP Placecomm team along with Career Development Cell organized 2 "Industry Connect" events.
The events were organized to bolster industry- academia engagement and collaboration.
50+ industry leaders participated in each of the sessions and engaged with candidates on campus. IIM Bangalore showcased its program IIM Bangalore EPGP (One Year Full Time MBA Programme), it’s current batch profile and program’s capabilities to the participants. Leaders and academia participants engaged in discussions focused on driving mutually beneficial synergies.

The IIMB Business Conclave 2020, hosted by students of the one-year full-time MBA – the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP) of IIM Bangalore, will be held online on November 22 (Sunday) 2020, 9.30 am onwards.
Breaking boundaries, setting new goals
Describing his learning experience at IIMB so far with online classes and new ways of adapting in the post COVID world, Major S.B. Sundararajan writes, “At the end of my career in the Army, I found IIM Bangalore to be the best fit to transform myself from a military leader to a corporate leader. I firmly believe the EPGP will help me reskill and stay competent in the fast-evolving market.”

Merit & Admission Scholarship
EPGP Merit Scholarship: Awarded to students in the top five ranks based on CGPA at the end of Term 2. The amount of each scholarship is Rs 7,50,000/-
EPGP Admission Scholarship: It is awarded to students in the top five ranks in each of Rounds 1 and 2 based on the overall admission score and if the student is in the top 25 per cent of the class based on CGPA at the end of Term 2. The amount of each scholarship is Rs 6,00,000/-

Prayaas Social Responsibility Initiative – PEHCHAAN 2019-2020
Prayaas- a social initiative of EPGP and Vikasana - a social initiative of PGP, in association with Being Social -एक नई शुरुआत, organized 'Pehchaan' - an initiative to provide a platform for budding talent in the fields of dancing, singing, and painting. Held at IIM-B premises on Sunday, 20th of October, the talent hunt brought together superbly gifted kids from more than 20 orphanages across Bangalore, who left us spell-bound with their mesmerizing acts and performances. Needless to say, the event was a roaring success! This was just a teaser. The final event will conclude on 17th Nov 2019 and provide a number of these talented kids with a platform to continue growing in their fields.

IIMB Business Conclave 2019
The theme for this year is “India in 2030”. India is expected to become the third largest economy in the world by 2030 with GDP touching $10 Trillion. Visions of AI and human-machine interaction are reshaping the Indian economy. The nation plans to launch its space station by 2030, and it will reap the benefits of its increasing demographic dividend. We would witness a decline in poverty and the exponential growth of the middle class.
The key areas in which India needs to focus over the next decade are Quality Education, Healthcare, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Clean Energy, Climate Change and other sustainable and economic goals. With Technology acting as an enabler in all these areas, let’s find out how it is going to shape our lives in the next decade.
Hence, the theme of this year’s conclave aims to focus on how to achieve these goals.
