PGPEM students celebrate culture and community at Pehel 2026
Annual cultural festival honours top 10 students of the 2025–27 cohort on the Director's Merit List
29 June, 2026, Bengaluru: Students of IIM Bangalore's two-year MBA for working professionals – the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) – hosted Pehel 2026, the programme's annual cultural festival, on 7 June 2026.
The event celebrated the shared experience of balancing professional commitments, academic rigour and personal aspirations with the theme Samatva, which spoke to the resilience and equilibrium that define the lives of working professionals pursuing a rigorous education.
The event opened with addresses by Prof. U Dinesh Kumar, Director-in-charge, IIM Bangalore, and Prof. Ashis Mishra, Chairperson, PGPEM and faculty of the Marketing area.
A highlight of the evening was the felicitation of the top 10 students from the 2025–27 cohort who earned a place on the Director's Merit List/ The celebrations continued with a vibrant line-up of performances featuring music, dance, poetry, stand-up comedy and other student-led acts. Families of the students and members of the broader IIMB community came together to enjoy this celebration of culture.
