Prof. Apurva Sanaria co-authors new edition of Organizational Behavior

Prof. Apurva Sanaria

Thirteenth edition offers India-focused insights on leadership, culture and the evolving nature of work

11 June, 2026, Bengaluru: The thirteenth edition of Organizational Behavior, revised version, co-authored by Prof. Apurva Sanaria, Chairperson, Library Committee and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area at IIMB, has been published by Wiley. The book is co-authored by Dr. Mary Uhl-Bien of TCU Neeley School of Business, Dr. John R. Schermerhorn of Ohio University, and Dr. Richard N. Osborn of Wayne State University.

A widely used text in management education, the revised edition presents a contemporary and practice-oriented understanding of how people think, feel and act within organizations. Thoughtfully adapted for the Indian context, the book integrates established organizational behavior frameworks with insights drawn from Indian corporations, institutions and workplace realities.

The text examines how individuals, teams and leaders navigate the increasingly dynamic nature of work by bringing together foundational concepts and emerging perspectives that are shaping organizations today. In addition to core themes such as motivation, leadership, communication, organizational culture, ethics and team dynamics, the book addresses contemporary topics including psychological safety, employee voice, collective leadership, impression management and technology-enabled work environments.

The revised edition seeks to equip students, educators and management practitioners with a deeper understanding of organizational frameworks and evolving challenges of leadership and workplace effectiveness.
