Prof. Apurva Sanaria appointed as the inaugural OB Division Global Ambassador for India
Two-year appointment is part of AOM’s new initiative to strengthen regional engagement and foster global scholarly collaboration
2 July, 2026, Bengaluru: Prof. Apurva Sanaria, Chairperson of the Library Committee and faculty of the Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management area at IIMB, has been appointed the inaugural OB Division Global Ambassador for India by the Organizational Behavior (OB) Division of the Academy of Management (AOM). His two-year term will commence in August 2026.
The Global Ambassador Program is a newly launched initiative of the OB Division aimed at strengthening connections between the Division and organizational behaviour scholarly communities across the world. As a Global Ambassador for India, Prof. Sanaria will serve as a local connector and regional voice by sharing OB Division and AOM opportunities, helping connect scholars, doctoral students, and early-career researchers with the Division, and bringing regional perspectives, needs, and ideas to the Global Committee.
In this role, he will facilitate community-building initiatives, such as informal gatherings, research conversations, doctoral-student sessions, and other networking events. He is also set to participate in Global Ambassador meetings and communications and share local scholarly insights with the Global Committee.
