28 June, 2024, Bengaluru: Professor Ludvig Levasseur from the Entrepreneurship Area has been nominated for the Academy of Management MOC Division Best Paper Award in Entrepreneurial Cognition under the faculty-led category. The paper is co-authored with Prof. Masoud Karami of Otago Business School; IIMB Faculty Prof. Sai Kalubandi, Strategy area and Apurva Sanaria, Organizational Behavior & Human Resources Management; and Dr. Bhuvanesh Pareek, Senior Data Analyst at Google.
Sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the award seeks to identify innovative research in entrepreneurial cognition; research that has direct practical implications and addresses pressing economic and social inefficiencies.
Prof. Levasseur investigates the phenomena related to time perspective and entrepreneurial alertness. His research interests also include mixed methods, family business, and venture capital.
Prof. Levasseur is a member of the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. He is an editorial board member of Academy of Management Perspectives, Venture Capital, and Small Business Economics. He has published in journals such as Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Organizational Behavior, British Journal of Management, Small Business Economics, Journal of Business Research, and Asia Pacific Journal of Management.
