IIMB Alumna & Founder-CEO of Slamdung delivers special lecture

22nd October, 2016: The Student Affairs Council of the Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management (PGPEM) batch 2015 and batch 2016 organized a speaker session with Madhuvanthi Ananth on 15th Oct, 2016.

Madhuvanthi, Founder-CEO of Slamdunq, is an alumna of IIMB. She worked with United Spirits Limited as a Senior Brand Manager-Digital, with a special focus on the IPL team, Royal Challengers Bangalore, before she started her journey with Slamdunq. The company is a sports startup which creates intuitive technology for individuals who play golf and cricket. Madhuvanthi is a perfect blend of technical skills and management prowess. Her leadership qualities and work ethic have won her accolades in her professional life.

Addressing students of IIMB, Madhuvanthi said: “IIMB is like Hogwarts because help is given to people who ask for it. During my 3 years here, I did really well what a student needs to do, which is, study and learn. To me, that is the way to break clutter and create a brand for yourself.”

About her takeaways from the programme, she said: “The PGSEM, which is now the PGPEM, is a wonderful course. It helps you derive value and leverage it to make a career for yourself. It taught me discipline. I actually learnt to make time. Even now when somebody asks me if I have time, I do not say ‘I’m busy’. Because I know what being busy really is. I was working, studying and I had a kid. That was the height of being busy. The course gave me an education and taught me skills such as time management and discipline.”
