As India accelerates its digital transformation across industries and public services, organisations face increasingly sophisticated cyber threats that demand proactive security strategies and resilient digital ecosystems. The panel discussion aims to explore emerging cyber threats, evolving security challenges, and practical strategies for building cyber resilience in an increasingly digital world.

The panel features a line-up of speakers, including Kavitha Kadambi, Former Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Infosys; Vijayeendra Purohit, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Infosys; C. Vamsi Krishna, Joint Commissioner of Police (West Zone), Bengaluru City Police; Prof. H. R. Rao, AT&T Chair Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio; and Dr. Shubhashis Sengupta, Managing Director and Senior Technology Research Executive, Accenture.

The session will be moderated by Prof. Jang Bahadur Singh, Information Systems and Analytics area, IIM Tiruchirappalli. An alumnus of IIM Bangalore, Prof. Singh's research focuses on digital inclusion, business analytics, information systems, and the application of artificial intelligence for managerial decision-making.

Participants will gain insights into emerging risks, best practices in cyber governance, and strategies for strengthening resilience against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. She has been recognised as one of India's leading cybersecurity professionals and received the Cybersecurity Person of the Year (Women) award in 2023.
  • Vijayeendra Purohit, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Infosys, has nearly three decades of leadership experience at Infosys, where he has led enterprise technology and communications before assuming the role of CISO, overseeing the company's global information security strategy.
  • C. Vamsi Krishna, IPS, Joint Commissioner of Police (West Zone), Bengaluru City Police, is a certified ethical hacker and cyber information security professional. A 2009-batch IPS officer, he has played a significant role in strengthening cybercrime investigation and technology-enabled policing.
  • Prof. H. R. Rao, AT&T Chair Professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Information Systems Frontiers, is internationally recognised for his pioneering contributions to information systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, decision support systems, and information assurance. His research has received global recognition, with more than 30,000 scholarly citations.
