Dean Faculty Prof. U Dinesh Kumar congratulated the incoming students for their decision to join IIMB. “We have a great ecosystem for researchers. Do enjoy your time here,” he said.

Dean Administration Prof. Rajendra K Bandi welcomed the students to the “best PhD programme in management in the country”, and said he was glad that many of them would be his future academic colleagues. He offered an overview of the world-class infrastructure at IIMB, including sports facilities.

One of the PhD students shared her academic background, work experience and aspirations.

In his welcome address, IIMB Director Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan said he was delighted that the 2023 PhD cohort has strong academic credentials and wide work experience.
