NSRCEL features among 12 ‘top performers’ in assessment of start-up incubation centres by NITI Aayog/Atal Innovation Mission

NSRCEL achieves this feat out of 67 incubators that were assessed

10 July, 2023, Bengaluru: IIM Bangalore’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub NSRCEL has featured among the 12 ‘top performers’ out of 67 incubators in an assessment of start-up incubation centres conducted by the NITI Aayog / Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), which is another remarkable feat for the institute in its Golden Jubilee year.

The assessment framework takes into account various needs and challenges faced by start-ups in India and is designed to serve as a guidepost for the future of start-up incubation centres in the country.

AIM is a flagship initiative of the Government of India to promote the culture of innovation and revolutionize the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the country. New policies and programmes to foster innovation in various sectors of the economy are developed under this umbrella which also provides the platform and collaboration opportunities to different stakeholders in the entrepreneurial space.

Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM Bangalore, congratulated all the stakeholders of NSRCEL who have contributed immensely to create an impactful and vibrant entrepreneur-centric ecosystem and said, “Congratulations and best wishes to all the faculty, staff, NSRCEL team, mentors, start-up entrepreneurs and everyone else who help nurture disruption and innovation, and play a significant role in the success journey of NSRCEL and IIMB.”
