27 March, 2024, Bengaluru: Prof. Rejie George Pallathitta, faculty of the Strategy area of IIM Bangalore, will lead the IIMB Chair Of Excellence Seminar, to be held from 4 pm to 5 pm on 28th March 2024, at Classroom K-11. The session will be themed on, ‘Work at the Intersection of Strategy and Corporate Governance’. Prof. Rejie George Pallathitta held the IIMB Chair of Excellence position from January 2020 to December 2023.

Abstract: The seminar will focus on Prof. Pallathitta’s research work (along with co-authors) about the intersection of strategy and corporate governance. In particular, the implications of business group structures on strategy and governance issues will be discussed. In addition, ownership structure and Board structure implications regarding the governance of corporations will be explored through some of the research work.
