The Association of Indian Management Scholars International (AIMS International) in association with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) organized the Seventh AIMS International Conference on Management (AIMS -7) during December 20-23, 2009 at the IIMB campus. The conference was also supported by the International Forum of Management Scholars.
The theme of the conference was 'Global Recession, Survival and Growth: Role of Management Education.'
N S Raghavan, the Co-founder and former Joint Managing Director of Infosys Technologies Limited was the chief guest at AIMS -7.
AIMS-7 had three plenary sessions. Ravi Seethamraju from the University of Sydney was the speaker of first session.
M R Rao from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad who was also a former director of IIMB and Professor Pankaj Chandra, Director IIMB presided over the second session. Swaminath Balachandran from University of Wisconsin -Platteville was the key speaker of the third session.
The second plenary session was followed by an award ceremony in which the following awards were distributed:
