From research volumes to learning programs, six publications and initiatives were released during the 8th Foundation Day of MIJSC, by dignitaries and MIJSC leadership, reflecting the Centre’s expanding impact.
In his welcome address, Prof. Jaideep Sarkar, Chairperson, MIJSC, emphasized the Centre’s role in fostering business, academic, and cultural connections between India and Japan.
Mr. Saideep Rathnam, COO, MIJSC, drew on the symbolism of Hachiko to emphasize balance, resilience, and loyalty as guiding values in the Centre’s 8th year.
Mr. Sandeep Singh, MD, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery, delivering the keynote on trust, adaptability, and deeper India–Japan collaborations.
Prof. Tatsuya Terazawa, Guest of Honor, highlighted India’s startup ecosystem and Japan’s manufacturing strength as complementary drivers of partnership.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Dinesh Kumar, Director In-charge, IIMB, highlighted the Centre’s growing impact and shared a personal reflection on simplicity and sophistication in India–Japan ties.
