Thanking everyone who contributed to making of the song, Prof. R T Krishnan said: “It would add to our Golden Jubilee Foundation Week celebrations when the Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu formally releases the song during her visit to the campus on 26th October.”
Member of the winning team of lyricists Davella Pashupati was present in person at the launch. On behalf of the two other lyricists, he said: “When IIMB first announced the song contest, we viewed it as an opportunity to collaborate creatively to voice our deep connection and gratitude for our alma mater. We owe much of our management knowledge, professional values and accomplishments to IIMB. Our learning and experiences at the institute gave us the skills to deal with the rigours of our professional journeys. So, what we penned came straight from our hearts…we mean every word of it. We were especially keen to highlight the institute’s mission, values and impact across the world.”
Professor Kandaswamy Bharathan shared that the thought behind putting the song together was to make it a signature song.
