Strategy area research wins Best Paper Award Runner-up at India Strategy Conference (ISC)

Study co-authored by PhD student Anubha Shokhand, Prof. Sai Yayavaram and Prof. Nilam Kaushik

18 December, 2025, Bengaluru: A paper titled ‘Tracing the Arc of Innovation: Patterns and Drivers of Technology Evolution’, co-authored by IIMB Doctoral Programme student Anubha Shokhand, with Prof. Sai Yayavaram and Prof. Nilam Kaushik from the Strategy area at IIMB, was awarded Runner-up for the SAGE Best Paper Award at the India Strategy Conference (ISC) hosted by the Indian School of Business (ISB). The paper, presented under the track Strategic Innovation for Competitive Advantage in a Fragmented World, forms part of Anubha Shokhand’s doctoral dissertation.

In a related achievement, Rangan Das, a second-year doctoral student working under the supervision of Prof. Nilam Kaushik, was awarded the Academy of Management (AOM) STR Global Scholarship. The scholarship supports participation at the AOM Annual Meeting through travel assistance and a registration fee waiver.
