Meijin-Samvad

‘Meijin-Samvad’ aka ‘Expert-Conversation’ is a discussion series about a specific topic amongst a select group of panelists who share different perspectives on a particular subject with a large audience. The panel, typically experts in the field, would share facts, offer opinions, and bring high-quality information and insights in the fields of management, technology, society, and culture to the informed and interested members of the public. The session would be for 90 minutes, with each speaker talking for about 20 minutes, followed by discussion with the moderator and a Q&A session with the audience. Though a seminar would be the preferred style for these sessions, web-based sessions are also used to foster experts in the field to interact with IIMB and local and global community to produce insights into the various challenges of industry, academia and the society. It is planned that the learnings from these sessions would be the trigger for developing more focused research projects. A research seminar would be organized on an annual basis to capture the learnings of all these sessions, which would lead to publications on the subject.
