The Centre for Public Policy held its Seventh Annual International Conference on Public Policy and Management from 16-18 August 2012. 'Societies in Transition' being the theme, a wide range of issues, concerns and practices were highlighted. Mr Ian Felton, Deputy High Commissioner, United Kingdom, inaugurated the conference.
Eminent speakers were invited to discuss key themes in the policy domain. In addition to plenaries, paper panels and panel discussions, the new additions were a book reading and a policy Hackathon. Additionally, papers that were presented were compiled into a Conference Proceedings volume.
The conference brought together 105 speakers from India and Europe, representing educational institutions, government agencies, NGOs and think tanks. Over 160 participants attended sessions both from within and outside Bangalore.
