The Centre for Public Policy convened its Sixth Annual International Conference on Public Policy and Management from 28-30 December 2011. Based on the theme, 'Strengthening Institutions, Enhancing Governance', the conference highlighted issues, challenges and best practices across different public policy and service areas. Professor Mukul Asher from Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS, delivered the keynote address on 'Preparing for Ageing India'.
The conference brought together over 100 speakers from India, Singapore, US, Ghana and China, representing government agencies, educational institutions, think tanks and consulting organizations. In addition, approximately 200 participants from institutions within and outside Bangalore attended the conference.
